Pursuant to Decision No. 863 /QD-BGDĐT dated March 28, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine was given permission to enrol students into the new Bachelor of Rehabilitation Technology program (Code: 7720603). Starting from the 2022-203 academic year, the University will admit 30 students into this program each year based on their national high school exam results.

Training Objectives
- Train Bachelor of Rehabilitation Technology (BRT) students who:
- Have adequate levels of fundamental science and professional knowledge as well as basic practical skills for solving problems related to physical and community rehabilitation, and clinical physiotherapy;
- Are capable of performing basic professional techniques employed in rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic care;
- Show high responsibility and respect for professional ethics, characterised by proper and careful execution of techniques;
- Are capable of independent study and conducting research, and employing evidence-based practice to satisfy the community’s needs for healthcare.
There will be opportunities for BRT students to study with leading experts who have had extensive experience in the profession. Students will also have access to modern equipment and laboratories of the Faculty and the University, and train their skills at leading hospitals in the field of rehabilitation.

Education curriculum: the training program has a total of 132 credits (51 courses) implemented in 8 semesters.
Career opportunities after graduating: Graduates can work at rehabilitation and physiotherapy departments in hospitals, medical centers and community health centers. They can also take up positions in related facilities such as health clubs and nursing homes, and are also able to provide care for athletes at sports centers.
Study opportunities after graduation: Students can improve their professional skills and pursue advanced studies at master or doctoral level.
